This beautiful impressionist painting capturing the essence of rural Australia has been lovingly created by Hawkesbury-based, Australian impressionist artist, Cass Walsh. This piece was commissioned by a collector in the USA, who had seen some of Cass's work and wanted to own an original created specifically for them!* 

The painting depicts a charming homestead nestled among trees and mountains, set against the backdrop of red dirt and a serene blue sky.

The homestead itself is a quaint and welcoming sight, with its warm and rustic feel, inviting the viewer to step inside and explore. The surrounding landscape is equally inviting, with tall trees, rolling hills and distant mountain peaks.

The red dirt that blankets the scene adds a sense of warmth and familiarity, a reminder of the earthy foundations upon which the homestead was built. The blue sky above provides a peaceful contrast to the ruggedness of the land, casting a calming light over the entire scene.

This piece has been hand painted onto stretched canvas and framed in a lightweight wooden floating frame, ready to hang.
